Here are directions to the Hawley Meeting House from Charlemont, Massachusetts:
Look for signs for Route 8A SOUTH, and take that route across a bridge over the Deerfield River. At the end of the bridge, the road Ts. Go left (leaving 8A). Take your first possible right turn, East Hawley Road.
Follow East Hawley Road up and up and up (just over five miles; Tinky has NOT clocked this exactly) until you see a church on your right and lots of parked cars. Park. Pudding delivery and lunch are in the low building to your left, known as the Hawley Grove.
The entertainment and announcement of the contest winners will take place in the old church, the Hawley Meeting House. The Grove has a ramp for handicapped access in front. The ramp for the Meeting House is at the back of the building; feel free to drive to the left to find the ramp.
If you are coming on Route 2 from the east (Boston, Greenfield), you may either take the route above or look for signs for Route 112 South. (It will intersect with Route 2 shortly after you pass Shelburne Falls.)
Take 112 South for just over 5 miles until you see a sign saying that you are entering Ashfield. JUST before the Ashfield sign, take a right on Clesson Brook Road. Go up and up and up for just over 5 miles. The road (which in the meantime becomes Buckland Road!) will end just before the Meeting House. That buildling will be right in front of you; the Hawley Grove, where puddings are due and lunch takes place, will be to your right.
